Simultaneously work with horses, ponies and minis, while building your riding, training, grooming and farm management skills.
Internships allow students to see all aspects of what it takes to run an equestrian facility/farm.
Students have the opportunity to hone their skills in their areas of interest.
Instructor-in-Training opportunities for those that qualify.
Students are recommended to ask their school if they are able to receive college credit for the internship. PFEC is willing to collaborate with colleges in order to meet the needs of our interns.
PFEC is looking for upbeat, dedicated, fun-loving Counselors for our Summer Riding Program!
*Training and supervision is provided - this is an unpaid position.
Our Summer Riding Counselor-in-Training (CIT) Programs are designed for those ages 16 and up.

PFEC considers individuals aged 16 and older to work in our FARM WORK EXCHANGE PROGRAM (FWEP). Depending on level of experience, students get the opportunity to have a free ride, riding lesson or horse care lesson after farm work is completed. Farm work training and supervision is provided.
Our Farm Work Exchange Program is offered on the weekends only.
*In order to assess skill level and to be considered for the program, all potential FWEP students must sign-up for a minimum of one riding lesson (i.e., includes grooming, tacking up & riding).
